Happy Easter!

The kids had a great Easter weekend, including hunting Easter eggs and their baskets from the bunny....

...going bowling for the 1st time (Happy Birthday, Derek!)....

...dyeing eggs, of course (Boo was especially entertained, as she mixed all of the colors together, one spoonful at a time, and had a blast making her eggs "stylish"!!!!)...

....finally, a beautiful sunrise service and visiting with family topped off the weekend!

Ty boy....pulling up and on the go!

Ty started pulling himself up this week....1st in his crib, then pretty much everywhere else!!!! He's so proud of himself :) He works so hard to get up, but then loves to let go and let himself fall down as if he's trying to find some balance (see bottom middle), pretty cute stuff!

Grandma's quilt-making visit!!!

Grandma came to visit for over a week!!!! We had high hopes of sewing together all 3 of the girls' quilts, as most of the time-consuming work involved in making them (cutting almost 2,000 circles and assembling...wow!!!) was already finished, thanks to Grandma! However, we quickly came to realize that we'd have to give up on that pipe-dream....as we completely miscalculated the enthusiasm we'd have for sewing at the end of a busy day with four under 5 :) Now we think it's a miracle we even managed to finish 2 of them....course we did have lots of little helpers along the way!!!!! We all had a great time!! Ella, (hopefully) you'll have yours by the time you're in a toddler bed! A huge thank you to Grandma for spending all your time and talent on these special quilts! They really turned out to be better than I could've ever imagined and I know they will always be treasured :) We love you!!!!

Check out Ty's tongue....like Papa, like Grandson :)

Their room looks adorable, but so much for matching quilts......Naturally, Anna loves this side.....

....and Emma loves this side!!!!!

Thank you, Grandma!
